Lifetime: the period during which something is functional (as between birth and death); "the battery had a short life"; "he lived a long and happy life"
I love taking pictures. More so, I love reflecting back... over and over... on the pictures I've taken in the months that follow the picture. People seem to find it endearing (or slightly obnoxious) that I have the need to document all events... big and small... with pictures. There's something about capturing a moment in time through a picture that makes my life a little richer each time I look back.
This concept brings me to my very first blog. I have thought about starting a blog for awhile, but I'm not sure I'll be very good at it. However, I think that blogging is another great way to think about and reflect on life. This year has been an amazing year of changes and challenges. Our wedding day was absolutely the best day of my life thus far and I feel blessed to have shared it with our friends and family. Tory and I bought our first house... which has finally become home (after painting, getting the carpet cleaned, tearing out shelves and rebuilding walls, buying furniture and wall art, and eating many dinners on the couch). We traveled to Costa Rica & Tanzania, and had our great Target Field adventure. What more could you ask for?
I am excited to blog about my beautiful life... because a lifetime is too short not to take note of everything... especially the little things.
Tory (resident 2) will also be dropping in to say something clever and sarcastic occasionally. :)
Love, Lynette
My Dear and Precious Blogger...my first granddaughter by marriage, Amanda cannot take exception to that as it is true, I will follow your blogging with great interest. Everything that interests you and Tory interests me as I am one of your greatest fans. Yes life is to short to miss a moment or to enjoy each moment as it comes along, and you do enjoy life! Can't wait to be together with you soon....grandma c:}
